KATIE FORSTER

Natural Therapeutics founder, Katie Forster is a well renowned naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist with over 20 years experience. Over the last two decades in clinical practice, Katie has successfully treated a wide range of health concerns. She has a special interest in gut health and sees this as fundamental platform when addressing autoimmune disorders, immune resilience, adrenal health and hormonal imbalances. With a background in biological science and a passion for using food as medicine, Katie prescribes nutritional medicine and bespoke, customised herbal tonics combined with a focus on diet to restore health and wellbeing.

Passionate about nutrition and the gut microbiome, Katie’s approach to a healthy diet is to encompass as a wide variety in prebiotic fibre rich and whole foods. This creates a diverse, healthy and anti-inflammatory gut microbiome – our HQ of immune function, energy production and mental health. Katie works with clients to implement realistic dietary changes for lasting effect, using evidence-based herbal medicine and nutritional supplements, as required, to help clients overcome health issues. Katie also specialises in effective weight loss and detoxification programs that can be designed to suit individual needs.

WOMEN’S AND CHILDREN’S HEALTH

Katie specialises in women’s health, pre-conception care, pregnancy, and fertility. As a mother herself, she has a special interest in infant and children’s health, treating various immune, digestive, skin, and other health issues.

Katie uses functional pathology testing where necessary to identify the underlying cause of illness as well as provide tools for the prevention of chronic disease and premature ageing.

Currently all appointments are conducted online via Telehealth (video call) or phone. Once you have booked your appointment online via this website, a link to the video call will be emailed to you in your appointment confirmation email. Be sure to fill in your Intake Form if you are a new client (this will also be in your appointment confirmation email) as this will allow more time in your consultation to focus on the important stuff – your story!
