Leela Klein
Leela is a graduate of the Southern School of Natural Therapies and holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine). She is a registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as well as the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
She is also a qualified Shiatsu practitioner (European School of Shiatsu, Bill Palmer’s Movement Shiatsu Post-graduate course), and used to be an Assistant teacher at the European School of Shiatsu in Brighton, England. Additionally, she is a qualified Reflexologist and Reiki Master.
Leela’s treatments often combine bodywork with acupuncture, and ancillary techniques such as moxibustion, cupping, gua sha (scraping), as well as diet & lifestyle suggestions.
Leela has a special interest in psycho-emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression, insomnia, Women’s Health (e.g. pregnancy, menopause, period pain), gastrointestinal concerns as well as autoimmune conditions.
Leela has been a volunteer acupuncturist at Windana, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in St Kilda, and is involved with the Buddhist Community at the Melbourne Buddhist Centre in Brunswick.
