Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a personalised and holistic approach to health care. Its aim is to alleviate symptoms and facilitate wellness by treating the underlying cause of illness and correcting any nutritional deficiencies and/or hormonal imbalances.

Naturopathic medicine enhances the body’s natural healing ability, restoring healthy function and vitality with the use of evidence based Practitioner Only natural medicines, such as herbal and nutritional medicine. Diet therapy and nutrition is an integral part of naturopathy along with a focus on lifestyle factors such as exercise, stress, and sleep quality.

With the use of Integrative and Functional Pathology testing and other indicated diagnostic tests (iridology, blood analysis, zinc taste test), naturopathy provides a preventative and proactive approach to optimise health and wellbeing.

What can NATUROPATHY treat?

Naturopathy is a great option if you’re just not feeling 100%, need a general health check to keep you on track, or if you have a medically diagnosed condition. Naturopathic care is suitable for acute and chronic conditions, for all ages from newborns to the elderly.

  • – Fatigue: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, adrenal fatigue or exhaustion
  • – Skin conditions: eczema, psoriasis, acne, lichen planus

Naturopathy is evidence based Integrative and Complementary medicine therefore it can often be used in conjunction with other medical care. It is, however, important to note that some herbs and nutritional supplements interact with pharmaceutical drugs, this is why it is essential to seek the professional advice of a qualified Naturopath.

LIVE BLOOD MICROSCOPY

Live Blood Microscopy (previously known as Live Blood Analysis) is the generic term that describes viewing a tiny drop of live blood under a powerful dark field microscope, capturing images that are displayed in real time onto a computer screen. It provides an immediate indication of the state of your health, assessing poor nutrition, immune health, oxidative stress, inflammation, leaky gut syndrome and liver health.

Live Blood Microscopy facilitates an understanding of what may be preventing us from being healthy and how we can improve our quality of life.

IRIDOLOGY

Iridology is a method of observing patterns, colours and other characteristics of the iris to determine information about our systemic health. Every system of the body is mapped on the iris, indicating where weakness or dysfunction is manifesting. Used in conjunction with thorough case taking, iridology can be a helpful tool to highlight problem areas that may be contributing to poor health.
